About Me

I moved to Foster City in 1991 and have lived here ever since. My wife Geeta and I found community, raised our daughter, and built our careers in this beautiful city. With a background in physics and computer science, I ran an IT consulting firm for 25 years. For a long time, I focused on my family and career and didn't pay attention to city politics. Around 2016, I realized how great an impact city policies had on my life and decided to get involved. Since then, I have attended city council meetings and learned about the key issues in our city.

During this time, I saw a councilman bullying residents and other council members. I couldn't accept such behavior representing our city, so in 2019, I joined residents to initiate a recall movement against him. After a long campaign, we successfully removed the disrespectful councilman. I realized many people, like I once was, were too busy to follow city policies. Since then, I have kept residents updated on council meetings through social media, emails, and texts. I make it a priority to inform residents about important agenda items beforehand and have acted as a watchdog for our community. Transparency has always been my main focus, and it will remain so.
